Gender: female

Please describe your current diet (e.g. 811RV, Fruitarian, LFRV, raw vegan, vegan, vegetarian, transitioning from SAD), how stable it is, and how long you have been eating this way.: Vegan. High raw. transitioning to RV811 or a similar variant.

Went seriously down the path of high raw about three and a half years ago. The transition to vegan started many years ago, first refraining from red meet about 10 years ago , then poultry about seven years ago. Seafood was a back and forth dealy and until recently, I was not 100% vegan. I fluctuated between "high vegan" and vegetarian. June 2012 VegFest in Madison WI facilitated my transition to 100 percent vegan--overnight! Although this was a small change if you looked at my already raw....predominantly vegan kitchen, it was a HUGE change internally. I may calibrate my diet from the health standpoint, but it is strictly vegan from the ethical standpoint!

Please describe the type and level of physical exercise that you follow.: I walk for several hours a week--quite often several hours a day. I go to the gym for bodypump classes and other strength training and cardio exercise. This is an area in my life that I am working to introduce more consistency and fun!

My greatest passion and goal in life is...: Wake up in a glorious lucid dream. Start with health and take it into spirituality and bliss. Help others achieve this state of being and I live it myself.

Are you coming to the festival with your family/partner/kids? What festival years are you attending?: 2012 is the first year I will be attending...and I have a feeling that I will be returning.

What are your hopes and expectations about this festival? What do you anticipate the most?: Deep connections with like-minded people. I anticipate an outright immersive experience. A few years back when I was new on the raw journey I had a deeply vivid, almost lucid dream of being at a raw festival with the hustle and bustle of happy people, incredible food, and lively music. It was absolutely magical. Is my dream coming true?
