Running, or rehabbing so I can get back to running, eating raw fruits and vegetables and devising new recipes
Please describe your current diet (e.g. 811RV, Fruitarian, LFRV, raw vegan, vegan, vegetarian, transitioning from SAD), how stable it is, and how long you have been eating this way.
811RV - started two weeks ago, still having hot tea and nearly raw Flora oil, when I race I might make exceptions
I cut out high carbohydrate foods (except fruit) from my normal diet about one year ago. At ultramarathon races I would make exceptions.
In high school I ate raw for 2 meals a day, fruit at breakfast and vegetables at lunch. I am now 32 and have always tried to eat lots of fruits and vegetables. My dad was in cardiology and as such I have always striven to eat a healthy low fat diet.
Please describe the type and level of physical exercise that you follow.
I have been running marathons since 2004 and ultras for the last two years. I had the 11th fastest female 100 mile time of 2016 - 17:24:58 at the Jackpot Ultra Running Festival. I believe cutting out high carb non-fruit foods and eating a nearly vegan diet last year had a huge impact on my running.
A massage therapist injured me in April of 2016 and I have been trying to recover ever since. Two weeks ago I began a stricter 811RV diet and have been feeling better since. I plan to continue this diet with hopes of healing my injury.
