I spend most of my time working as a receptionist and taking care of my animals, which include, dogs, horses, chickens, goose, cat, Blue Crown Conure, and Cockatiel.
Please describe your current diet (e.g. 811RV, Fruitarian, LFRV, raw vegan, vegan, vegetarian, transitioning from SAD), how stable it is, and how long you have been eating this way.
I have recently adopted the raw vegan diet. I was a vegetarian for almost four years, but now that I have "gone raw" I am loving all the fresh fruits and vegetables so much that I have no plans on going back!
Please describe the type and level of physical exercise that you follow.
I currently do not have a consistent excercise routine due to my busy schedule. But I do get excercise walking my dogs and feeding my small farm. Believe me hauling hay and feed bags can be a work out! But I do hope to incorporate running soon, because I do enjoy that. I also love hiking in the mountains!
My favorite food (fruit!) is...
All of them!!!
My greatest passion and goal in life is...
My greatest passion in life is my Lord Jesus Christ. He is first and foremost in my life. I desire to honor Him with how I treat my body, because my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that is why I have chosen raw foods. My second passion in life is animals, especially horses. I hope to one day open a ranch for rescued horses, where hurting children can come and connect with the horses. It will be a place where both horse and child can find healing, hope and learn to trust again.
Are you coming to the festival with your family/partner/kids?
I hope to attend the 2013 festival and I would love to bring my mom with me.
What are your hopes and expectations about this festival? What do you anticipate the most?
I hope to connect with others who embrace this wonderful lifestyle of raw fruits and vegetables, because currently my "raw food world" consists of just me. I also desire to learn all that I can in order that I might better myself and educate others about raw foods.
My favorite quote is...
There are so many wonderful quotes that come to mind, but one that is special to me is from the Bible. It concisely explains God's plan of salvation for mankind. Acts 2:38, "Then Peter said unto them, 'Repent, and be baptised everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.'"
