"I second this request! It's easy to make a vegan thanksgiving meal, but raw and low fat is a little more tricky. Erika, I'd love to hear your pumpkin pie and corn salad recipes as well! My only idea so far is a spinach and fennel salad…"
"How do people usually manage the logistics of bringing a bike? I know people come from all over the world, so a lot of people must fly with their bikes, right? Does anyone know which airlines are the most bike friendly or cheapest? We will be coming…"

With my wonderful family...my husband and two young boys.
Please describe your current diet (e.g. 811RV, Fruitarian, LFRV, raw vegan, vegan, vegetarian, transitioning from SAD), how stable it is, and how long you have been eating this way.
Vegan (except honey) for the better part of 6 years, experimenting with (high fat, gourmet) raw foods for most of that time, on and off LFRV for over a year. Due to the while family (except the baby) having digestive problems, we've finally committed to transitioning to 100% LFRV by the end of the year.
Please describe the type and level of physical exercise that you follow.
Currently only doing light physical activity (housework and walking) because I just gave birth. Will soon be transitioning back to my regular swimming, yoga, and biking. Planning to start jogging as well.
My favorite food (fruit!) is...
My greatest passion and goal in life is...
To be the best mama I can to my boys and to be a shinning example for them of what it means to take care of themselves.
Are you coming to the festival with your family/partner/kids? What festival years are you attending?
I'll be attending with my husband and two young kids, planning '13 for sure, and we'll see how it goes after that!
What are your hopes and expectations about this festival? What do you anticipate the most?
I hope to connect with like minded families and individuals, perhaps even find some who live in our area. I want my kids to be exposed to healthy examples and people to look up to from a young age.
