Work Exchange Program

The Woodstock Fruit Festival Work Exchange Program

will certainly become one of your most rewarding, informational, and exciting summer experiences. Yet, we have to be honest - organizing a festival with over 500 guests is a LOT of work.

Volunteer Teams 2016:

♥ Drivers ♥
♥ Kitchen Team ♥
♥ Produce Team ♥
♥ Cleaning Team ♥
♥ Dining Hall Team ♥
♥ Registered Nurses ♥
♥ Activities Team ♥
♥ Face Painters/Tie Dyers ♥

Each volunteer will be assigned to a particular team and will be working the same hours with the same teammates for the duration of the festival.
These hours will be scheduled in the same time as festival activities and lectures, therefore volunteers will only be able to participate in activities that occur outside of their working hours.
You will have an opportunity to choose a specific position you would like to apply for in your volunteer application.

In order to be considered for acceptance into our Work Exchange Crew you will need to commit to the full duration of the festival arriving by 5 pm on Thursday, August 18th, and leaving no earlier than after 2 pm on Monday, August 29th.

Please note that before, after, and in between the sessions, all volunteers will be on duty for general clean up and registration help as necessary regardless of their specific duties and hours.

All volunteers will be expected to stay in designated Volunteers Cabins.

To apply to the Work Exchange Program,
Please start with filling out and submitting a Volunteer Application with 2 references - 1 personal and 1 professional.
Volunteer Application requires $10 non-refundable application fee.

Please note that each year we get hundreds of volunteer applications, so unfortunately, we cannot accept everyone who applies.

If you are accepted, you will be asked
To pay a volunteer deposit or set up a payment plan within 2 weeks after acceptance if accepted before July 20th, and immediately upon acceptance if accepted after July 20th.
All volunteer deposit payment plans will need to be paid off by July 20th.

All first time volunteers will need to pay a Volunteer Security Deposit of $350, out of which $300 will be refunded to them immediately after the event, provided they fulfill their commitments to the festival, and $50 is a non-refundable processing fee.

All returning volunteers will need to pay a Volunteer Security Deposit of $300 with no processing fee.

Refund Policy:
All $300 Volunteer Deposits are refundable until July 20th, 2016.
If you cancel after July 20th, 2016, your $300 Volunteer Deposit will become an In-House Credit.
If you cancel after August 10th, your $300 Volunteer Deposit will be considered forfeited.
$50 processing fees and $10 application fees are non-refundable.

We are looking for energetic, adventurous, and creative individuals who are team players and are committed to put forth a dedicated effort to create a great experience for everyone.
