Presentation by Tim Van Orden
Ashley Hamilton: Rock Climber. College Student. Artist. World Traveler. Raw Vegan.
This presentation reveals an unconventional youngster’s personal journey with diet.
Ashley Hamilton went raw vegan 4 years ago at the young age of 16. She is an avid sponsored rock climber and passionate artist, and has recently returned from a year abroad in Australia and Thailand. She survived high school and currently college on this diet and has much experience in this area, including how to eat enough fruit on a student budget.
She’ll be discussing some struggles endured as a teen/young adult raw vegan including dealing with people who don’t understand and how to fit in at parties and other social events. She has many tips to share and stories to tell regarding traveling on a raw diet and will talk about how this diet has influenced her passions: climbing and art.
Ashley is a passionate, determined, inspiring individual who loves to help others in their journey to health. After her talk, there will be an opportunity to ask any questions regarding her journey, passions, and approach.
