The closest airport is Albany International Airport in Albany, NY.
You may also fly into any of the major New York City airports and take the Amtrak train from New York City to Albany departing from Pennsylvania Station (NYP) which is located between 31st Street and 33rd Street in Midtown Manhattan.
Alternatively you can take take the Trailways Bus bus from New York City to Albany, departing from Port Authority Terminal. All New York City airports as well as Newark airport in New Jersey connect to both Pen Station and Port Authority.

The closest town you can get to by public bus service is Warrensburg, which is about 10 miles from Camp Walden.

We will have our own private bus service available from both New York City and Albany to Camp Walden (and back to New York City + Albany after the event). Prepayment is necessary to reserve your spot. Registration will be opened in June 2013.

Camp Walden is located on Trout Lake, in the Town of Bolton, just five miles from Lake George. The camp is approximately 3.5 hours from NYC and Boston, 2.5 hours from Montreal and 1.5 hour from the Albany International Airport.

Take any roads that best lead you to the New York State Thruway (I-87 North).
Take I-87 North towards Albany.
Stay on I-87 until you reach Albany and get off at exit 24 - pay toll and proceed onto 87 North toward Montreal.
Continue on 87 (also known as The Northway) until you reach exit 22.
Take exit 22 toward US-9 N/Lake George Village/Diamond Point (.9 miles).
Turn left onto NY-9N/Lake Shore Drive (4 miles).
Turn slight left onto Coolidge Hill Road/CR-49 (4 miles).
At end make left onto Trout Lake Road/CR-48 (1miles).
Camp Walden is on the right side.
Take any roads that best lead you to the Taconic Parkway.
Take the Taconic towards Albany.
Take I-90 West towards Albany for approximately 20 minutes.
Take Exit 1B for Alternate 90 West toward Albany.
As approach the city of Albany, Take RT 787 North for approximately 3 - 5 miles.
Take RT 7 West for approximately 2 - 3 miles. Merge onto 87 North.
Continue on 87 (also known as The Northway) until you reach exit 22.
Take exit 22 toward US-9 N/Lake George Village/Diamond Point (.9 miles).
Turn left onto NY-9N/Lake Shore Drive (4 miles).
Turn slight left onto Coolidge Hill Road/CR-49 (4 miles).
At end make left onto Trout Lake Road/CR-48 (1miles).
Camp Walden is on the right side.
Take any roads that best lead you to the Montreal border.
Take Route 87 South from the border.
Get off at Bolton Landing (Exit 24) and go to Bolton Landing, then South on Route 9N.
One half mile past Bolton, turn right at the Rondack Motel, onto Mohican Road.
Follow the road staying on the main road.
At the stop sign bear right and stay right at all intersections until you see camp on your right side.
